Connecting to an Allen Bradley PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) via USB can be a convenient and efficient way to communicate with the PLC and transfer data. Below we go over a few steps to connect your Allen Bradley PLC via USB.
Before you start begin, it's important to make sure that you have the following items:
Step 1: Connect the USB cable to the USB port on the Allen Bradley PLC and the USB port on your computer or device.

Step 3: Open RSLinx Classic software and select "New" from the "Communications" menu.
